  Quaint cottage off the beaten track for cleaning up and feeding yourself after a great day at the beach.

  The cottage needs some new furniture. We were all afraid to sit on the sofa. Luckily I brought a king sized sheet to cover it. The white wicker furniture stuff in the main bedroom could use a real good cleaning and if that didn't work....replace the tables and dresser, desk not necessary.
  More about furniture....2 high top bar stools would make dinners on the nice sized patio more enjoyable for sitting at the table like a normal family with or without guests.

  1. Condition of property....The commode in the bathroom had a major leak. If I wasn't a fix it yourself type we would have never moved in.
  2. Parking.....There was no parking on the street. The locals conspire to make sure that there is no outside traffic parked on 40th street by permanently parking their own vehicle on the street and reserving their garages for their guests. They call it the "Newport Shuffle". I don't have a solution for this. But I will never put myself in a unit that does not provide adequate parking. The $1800 I spent for the week on 40th street was a message to the many friends that tried to visit my family while we were in Newport Beach that I was a fool to let myself be took to the cleaners. Having to have them park 20 blocks away at metered parking and then ferrying them both ways made my vacation feel like I was still working.
